Had a lot of thoughts about my show this week, did some rebranding, saw a cool radio-related movie, and now sharing with you some thoughts on what could make a good radio drop, the importance of coming off okay on the radio, and what different directions one can take when they put something out there.

Been letting the music do a lot of heavy lifting for the radio show lately -- and that's what the show is for -- great local music -- so anyway, I can't talk about the shopping cart theory on my radio show or my art channel, so that leaves this podcast -- also giving you an update on my art channel and what I'm working on next. 

In this episode I go over my last broadcast where I promoted most of the musicians and shows that are on Radio St Pete who have been nominated for the 2026 Creative Loafing Best oft the Bay award. 
 
 

Much like last week's pod, I share the drops I did for my radio show this week. I even got more help than last time, getting two correspondents to record some rain-related jokes to help keep things light. 
 
Being in Florida, I didn't want to group hurricanes into a rain-themed episode. This episode is essentially a part two to last week's, when I covered heat and the heat index in Florida. For the rain we see this time of year, I was able to go even deeper and find out even more information than last time. 
 
I also played with different ways to sound engineer each clip.
